Therapeutic Spending: Fruit Bowls
I am a “workout for events” type of girl. Meaning, if there’s a reason, I will work out. Last year was filled with events including my friend’s bachelorette, two weddings, one business trip, my own bach, and my own wedding. They all sort of were spread throughout the year so I was consistently in conscience eating+workout mode. And as soon as it all ended in October, I returned to my normal couch potato state.
Three months later, I am now 10lb heavier and all my muscle has returned to its soft form.
Thankfully, new events are starting up soon- Valentine’s Day, my birthday, etc. so it is time to return to healthier habits. The first being to sub out chips for fruits and veggies. Hence, my search for a cute new fruit bowl. Who says I can’t mourn the loss of my chips through shopping?
These are my current contenders:
Elegant with a little bit of whimsy. Can’t go wrong with this one.
When you click on the link there’s a picture of a banana sitting atop it that makes me a little uncomfortable while simultaneously begging me to purchase it. Comes in 16 colors.
I have been in love with this collection since it debuted last year. The imperfect look of the checkered pattern and the gold details are *chefs kiss*.
There’s a little gaudy gnome inside myself that attracts me to gold accents every now and then. But imagine it, on a marble countertop, with your velvet bar stools ALSO accented in gold…the gnome wins again.
There’s nothing like a bright colorful kitchen. This handmade glass bowl is said to be just as vibrant and beautiful in real life as in the pictures. Think Mexican casita vibes.
This Farmhouse Green Glass Vintage 1970s style fruit bowl is screaming to be placed on a beautiful creamy white lace mantle, probably on top of your thrifted 4 piece dinette set.
